"Hummingbird at Rest"

I did a quick painting of a hummingbird at rest today as I can now focus on my original works of art again. Namely, my "Poetry in Motion" painting. Over the past two weeks I had to focus on a commissioned pet portrait and wall art for a baby's room which are both now complete. This little gem of art (Hummingbird at Rest)is 4" wide x 6" high. -Sold-

"Auggie" Commissioned Pet Portrait

Well, "Auggie" has taken the front seat in my artistic endeavors. I plan on having this pet portrait finished and mailed out to one of my favorite art collectors this week. He passed away recently so this painting is in rememberance of Auggie.

"Poetry in Motion" Painting in Progress

A sculpture of a poet is the focal point of this painting in progress. I have added pears to give movement in this original oil painting. A sheet of music will eventually fill the silver bowl, and euclyptus branches will cascade from within the earth toned vessel. This painting may take me awhile to complete as it is highly detailed, and I work full-time in another profession. Dimension: 11' X 14"
